Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson weren’t the only exes who got a chance to reunite at the Met last night. The photographer also captured moments between Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper, who dated for four years before splitting in 2019. The pair have a six-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine.
In the snap, the former couple stands near a group of attendees, including Donatella Versace. Shayk, wearing a white Yohji Yamamoto dress, leaned back in his chair and looked up at Cooper. Meanwhile, the actor, in a classic black tuxedo, smiled softly at the model.
The two are known to have a rather amicable co-parenting relationship and have often been seen hanging out in public, celebrating festivals and taking vacations together since their split.
Shayk previously spoke with ELLE about the dynamics following her split from Cooper. “I never understood the term co-parenting,” she said. “When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100% the mother, and when she’s with her father, he’s 100% her father. Co-parenting is parenting.
Regarding her romance with Cooper, she added: “My past relationship, it’s something that belongs to me, it’s personal. It’s just a part of me that I don’t want to give up.
Shayk recently spoke about motherhood in an interview for Harper’s Bazaar‘s 2023 cover story. “My daughter was a big reason why I started loving myself more. She’d say, ‘I love Daddy so much, I love Mama so much, I love Nana, I love Babria’ – who was my mum. Then She said, ‘I really love myself. I look at my daughter and I think, ‘Wow, I wasn’t like that when I was six,'” she said. “But that’s what we need to teach our kids. We’re teaching our daughters, above all, to be kind.
